What is a digital identity?

About digital identity ,It is considered to condense the real identity information into a digital code to form a public key that can be queried and identified through the network and related equipment. Digital identity is the infrastructure leading to the digital twin world and the key to open the door of trust in the digital worlde shouldn’t in a virtual world.Digital identity includes not only identity coding information such as birth information, individual description and biological characteristics, but also personal behavior information with multiple attributes.

How do personal versus professional approaches to digital identity affect social media use?

Digital citizens apply the principle of acceptable behavior in the virtual world. It includes equality of opportunity, basic understanding of legal responsibility, and understanding of etiquette and personal safety. In essence, it provides a platform to teach people to respect each other and prevent negative characteristics such as online bullying. Most of them seem like basic common sense, but as many people will regret to prove, it is difficult to find common sense when providing anonymity to online audiences.

How do digital identities converge in networked publics -what are the impacts and/or benefits?

Digital identity converges with the public in the network through different ways.Digital identity includes not only identity coding information such as birth information, individual description and biological characteristics, but also personal behavior information with multiple attributes.By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that the Internet has had a positive impact on modern life because of its influences on communication and the flow of information.

PLN&public communication

  1. What does it mean to the network using social media?
Using social media is good for developing our own online skills and digital literature. Today’s world is developing rapidly, full of changes, and information spread widely and rapidly. Only relying on the knowledge and skills learned in school is no longer enough to support our long-term development and growth in the future. Therefore, we should make full use of the convenience brought by social media networks. More importantly, build social media networks on a personal level to become adaptive lifelong learners. On social media networks, learners can find what they need from numerous learning resources for individual learning. In addition, group learning is also a good choice. Social media networks are a great opportunity for students who love a wide range of learning.
  2. How are we motivated to participate in networked publics?
By managing connections in a personal network, professionals can learn by connecting with others, thereby expanding the network that supports personal growth and learning. Professional networks develop the ability to connect with others. Professional networks can benefit different groups of people by connecting with the public, facilitating personal career development, connecting organizations with business partners, and providing learning pathways for professionals.
Learning professionals further their activities by performing three tasks: making contacts, maintaining contacts, and activating and selecting contacts with people for learning purposes. Participating in the online public cultivates our ability to connect with others to take the next step. This ability can give full play to the maximum efficiency of online learning and absorb the knowledge you need more quickly. Meanwhile, the network connection has a more “good contact” effect and improves the convenience of learning and work.
  3. What are the risks & rewards of public communications?
Reward: Public communication can spread knowledge of the world through the network. The diversity of knowledge greatly expands the convenience of acquiring knowledge, and we have more opportunities to be lifelong learners. This is important for the economic and social changes brought about by Covid-19, climate change, and the future of automated work. The timeliness of online media is high. We can quickly catch up on news happening on the other side of the world. It can share and disseminate information to enhance the ability to respond to emergencies. At the same time, the rapid transmission speed improves the efficiency of work, and working in different places has become a new way of working slowly at present.
Risk: The development of network communication is accompanied by the progress of science and technology, and the birth of new technologies has replaced some traditional industries, bringing challenges to many industries that developed smoothly before. For example, the rapid development of network media directly impacts traditional paper media, resulting in the lack of market competitiveness of many paper media and bankruptcy, a large number of technical staff laid off, and employment difficulties.
The convenient and fast characteristics of public communication also lead to the shortcomings of uneven dissemination of information and excessive false information on the network. The complexity of information makes it difficult for people to distinguish the authenticity of the information, and it is more likely to lead to some mistakes.
